The project involved designing water tanker towers with capacities ranging from 5,000 to 75,000 liters at heights from 2.5m to 10m. These towers, constructed from steel, concrete and masonry are designed to serve as water tower supports which are to be built in school compounds of Addis Ababa. We optimized the tower designs for the schools’ water supply needs and developed hydraulic models to standardize the designs ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in water storage.

● Optimizing structural designs for towers with different heights and capacities while ensuring cost efficiency.
● Developing standardized hydraulic models that meet the needs of varying school compound setups.
● Designing towers using different construction materials each with unique challenges in terms of cost and structural integrity.
● The structural designs were optimized by selecting the best combination of steel, concrete, and masonry materials for each tower considering their height and capacity.
● Hydraulic models were developed to standardize the design for multiple school facilities, ensuring efficient water storage and distribution.
● Comprehensive cost estimates were prepared to provide clear budgeting guidelines for each tower construction
